Rendez Vous in Stars Hollow!!

00:59:00

November 25th is FINALLY here and I am totally going GAGA in anticipation of how this (short) comeback of the Gilmore ladies will turn out! Gilmore Girls – A Year in the Life” is possibly the most sought after show this winter as fans get ready to actually skip Black Friday sales and get glued to their screens.

We have been told to expect four 90 minute episodes that will take us back to Stars Hollow and reunite with the whole gang. Will these four episodes be enough to satisfy the audiences or will we be left wanting more? Only time will tell!

The mother daughter duo, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, played by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will be back, being their usual quirky and witty selves, along with most of the main leads from 9 years ago! The show will be incomplete without Edward Hermann, who played Richard Gilmore, Lorelai’s father, as he passed away in 2014. His relationship with his grand-daughter was one of the audience’s favourite. I am mostly excited to see Melissa McCarthyYanic TruesdaleLiza Weil and Scott Paterson return as Sookie, Michel, Paris and Luke Danes, the Gilmores’ sidekicks or what we would refer to as #squadgoals in today’s world.

From Kirk’s eccentric activities to Lorelai’s never ending pop references and humorous anecdotes and Sookie’s love for cooking, I, along with possibly the whole world, am literally counting minutes till the episodes are released. Netflix has confirmed that all the new episodes will debut on November 25, 2016 at 12.01am PT. That's 7.01am in the UK. While, non-Netflix subscribers will just have to keep waiting a little longer.

For those who cannot wait, here are some pictures:

And the trailer and teaser:

Now please excuse me so I may resume binge-watching the seven previous seasons, that’s a total of 153 episodes, ONLY. *grabs popcorn and tissues for some overwhelmingly amazing mother-daughter moments*
